Las Vegas, January 17, 2005, Valentine's Day is big business for Becky and Michael Solomon, who own three Great American Cookies stores in Southern Nevada.

Last year, just before Valentine's Day, the Summerlin couple partnered up with BannerView.com to launch a website, cookie2.com.

They felt the website was a key ingredient to the future success of their business and expanding their customer base beyond the mall customer.

As Michael Solomon says, "Adding our website and offering free delivery was absolutely essential for our future growth in this market."

This year's offerings include the Great American Eating Cards (an oversized pop-up greeting card with a cookie inside), cookies in Valentine's Day tins, buckets of love filled with cookies and a heart-shaped cookie cake in a red foil gift box, geared for people to give to anyone special on their list, including family members and business associates.

The Solomons predict that customers will be looking beyond traditional chocolates and flowers as gifts this year and they will be shopping at malls, by phone, and online.

Great American Cookies offers free delivery in Southern Nevada for all orders over $15 and has also launched a new program to ship orders out of state.
